Hello 3 Year Anniversary 💚
And Hello Rosé Champagne Cocktail 🥂
Yes that’s right, today and all weekend we are celebrating 3 years of our wonderful marriage.
We are beginning our Saturday with a long dog walk around Central Park as usual, followed by a home-cooked breakfast. (Doing a quick bit of work because, well hospitality never sleeps!), and then onto a relaxing afternoon. Finishing up by taking a trip to one of our favorite restaurants in the city – Minetta Tavern, this place 🙌, let me just tell you, if you haven’t been…GO NOW. You won’t regret it. The atmosphere is spot on, the cocktails are amazing & the food is beyond. If their soufflé is on the menu – get it, don’t hesitate, just do it! Sunday will no doubt be spent lounging by the fire with the pups, playing the odd board game and just reflecting on a wonderful year. I love any excuse to get the old sentimental box out.
To mark the occasion (along with some other things, mentioned above^) we have created some his and hers cocktails using some of our favorite ingredients! Again, creating a weekend cocktail is not unusual for us, but creating two for a purpose is a trend we may just continue. We had a lot of fun creating these and of course drinking them, so we hope you enjoy reading about them & trying them yourself!

I Heart Rosé, I also heart Rum and I definitely heart Champagne!
This cocktail is flirty, fun and delicious. All that an anniversary weekend should be!

- 1.5 oz. cabana rum
- 0.75 oz. lemon Juice
- Rosé Champagne
- Shake Rum & Lemon Juice with Ice in your shaker until chilled
- Strain into a champagne coupé or flute
- Top with Rosé Champagne and garnish with a strawberry heart and/or lemon twist!
